Hoori Rafieian, PhD, Assistant Professor of Marketing, Fordham University
Hoori Rafieian, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. Her research examines consumer decision making process by exploring factors that bias consumers’ judgment and behavior. Her work has been published in Journal of Marketing Research and Consumer Psychology Review. She received her Ph.D. in Marketing from Drexel University. Prior to joining Fordham, Hoori was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Nancy Wong, PhD, Kohl's Chair in Retail Innovations, Wisconsin-Madison, Faculty Director, Kohl's Center for Retailing Excellence
Nancy Wong, PhD holds the Kohl’s Chair in Retail Innovations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves as faculty director of the Kohl’s Center for Retailing Excellence. She currently serves as Review Editor for Frontiers in Psychology and Review Panel for Research Grants Council of Hong Kong. She also serves on the editorial board of Journal of Consumer Psychology and International Journal of Research in Marketing. She has an undergraduate degree in accounting from York University, and an MBA from UCLA and MA and PhD from University of Michigan.

Casey E. Newmeyer, PhD is the Senior Marketing Research Manager for Cisco Meraki. Her work lies within the domain of consumer-based strategy which links consumer attitudes and behaviors to managerial decision-making. Her research explores brand management and consumer well-being. In practice, she guides research in customer satisfaction, new product development, and market segmentation. Her publications have appeared in the Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing. Her work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review and she has presented on numerous occasions at the AMA Educators’ Conference.

Avani Surana, MS is an Analyst, Advanced Advertising-Planning Solutions at Paramount. Avani graduated in 2022 from Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business in Marketing Analytics for their M. S. Marketing Intelligence program. Prior to Fordham, she received her undergraduate degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Avani is a task-focused professional who strives to accomplish her goals through persistency and dedication. Her positive attitude and relationship-oriented approach helps to ensure a congenial work environment and a team-centric approach to achieving goals.
